The family of RiffRaff the Galah cockatoo, their veterinarian Dr. Brock Warren and CBD Vets Australia are happy to share with us their testimony with the use of CBD.

In addition, also Dr. Brock Warren shares his medical experience with the use of CBD in RiffRaff, you can read the clinical case in the following link: https://brisbanebirdvet.com.au/

RiffRaff's parents' communications with Dr. Warren are presented below by date.

March 6:

Riff started his CBD on March 6th. The initial dose was 0.02.

The first night after stopping the strong meds, Riff did not sleep as early as usual, perhaps in retrospect, we could have given him more CBD, however, within a day he was eating more and clearly feeling much better!

The current CBD dosage of RiffRaff is 0.03 to 0.04. She takes it twice a day just before breakfast and then at dinner. Once, I accidentally gave her a little more, almost 1 ml, and she had a good night! She was very interested in TV, watching old DisneyÆ cartoons! There were no other side effects. However, we don't think she needs this amount for pain relief.

At first we gave her the after dinner dose because we had been doing that with the strong meds because she wouldn't eat after that bunch of nasty meds, however, we switched to before dinner for the small dose of CBD. RiffRaff took to the taste of CBD pretty quickly and now, as you can see in the video, she loves her CBD and can't wait to have it! She has a clear awareness that it makes her feel better!

When RiffRaff started the CBD oil treatment, she was a little uncomfortable and a little irritated just before her dose was due; however, when the dose kicked in, she relaxed and was clearly no longer in discomfort.

Since slightly increasing her dosage, and when the CBD oil started working in her system, we noticed that she is happy 98% of the time, which for an older girl like her is miraculous!

We replaced his four medications with CBD oil, as it works for all his problems. Pain, inflammation, stomach/digestion, and it has also worked for her appetite, which is a plus, her quality of life is much better.

On the first shot of CBD Riff was like, I don't want that horrible tasting stuff, thinking it was the other meds! When he tasted the CBD, his eyes bugged out as he realized it wasn't horrible. (I wish I had recorded that).

She was also starting to feel traumatized by the different meds twice a day up to 4, now she yells at us to hurry up when she sees us measuring CBD.

There are so many positive aspects to CBD, in our experience.

I've been recommending everyone I know to talk to their vet who has animals in pain or anxiety!

I hope this helps in some way, we are very happy to clarify any doubts to anyone who wants to.
